If you’ve always wanted to be a nurse, you’ll love this tidbit: The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics projects that employment for registered nurses will grow faster than most other occupations through 2018. It’s also one of the most trusted professions, and one of the most rewarding, in our opinion. But you already know that. If you’re reading this, you probably dream of coming home from work each day and knowing you’ve helped somebody. The only thing you still might need to figure out is where to earn your degree…
How about from one of the top private undergraduate nursing programs in Massachusetts? Read on for three reasons why nursing students choose Becker.
- NCLEX pass rate. In 2011 and 2012, Becker’s Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) program graduates achieved the highest National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) pass rate among all similar programs in Massachusetts. And in 2013 and 2014, the NCLEX-RN first-time pass rate was 100 percent for Becker grads.
- The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program. Launched in 2012 and approved by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing, our four-year BSN program gives graduates the skills they need to become a registered nurse in direct care with patients and prepares them for entry into graduate programs.
- Nursing simulation lab. The Health Sciences Education Center at our Worcester Campus is home to 11 laboratories, including the nursing simulation lab, which resembles a hospital room. The simulation lab allows students to apply what they’ve learned in the classroom in real-life settings, making them confident and ready to complete their clinical hours off campus
Schedule a visit to campus and see the lab for yourself. We know you’ll understand why our program is ranked among the best in Massachusetts.
