From seafood to sushi, we've already named some of our students' and staff's favorite places to dine when their family members come for a visit. But what about a good old fashioned pizza night with your roommates? Or a late-night study break slice? Well, here are the best places for that...
Volturno, 72 Shrewsbury Street. Looking for an authentic Italian meal? Volturno is certified by the Associazione Pizzaiuoli Napoletani to make pizza according to the guidelines set by Italy—so consider it your very own slice of Italy.
Corner Grille, 806 Pleasant Street. Since its founding in 1998, our students have flocked to Corner Grille for their delicious and innovative pizza offerings and have long considered it one of Worcester's hidden gems. Toppings include hamburger meat, caesar salad, roaster butternut squash, and more.
Blue Jeans Pizza, 270 Park Avenue. Chicagoans have said that you can't find a more authentic Chicago deep dish pizza than at Blue Jeans—and we believe them!
Golden Pizza, 453 Lincoln Street. With locations in Auburn, Shrewsbury, and Worcester, Golden Pizza is never too far. Plus, our students find their online ordering service and quick delivery especially convenient for those finals-week cravings.
Woosta Pizza, 407 Main Street. The Woosta Special, made with mushroom, sausage, onion, pepperoni, and bell peppers, is a fan favorite and a must-have for Becker students. Not to mention, our students appreciate Woosta Pizza's free delivery, too.
Ernie's Pizza, 80 West Street. Not only is Ernie's around the corner from our campus, but it's also open late (2 a.m.!). If you swing by Ernie's, we're sure you'll spot a few fellow Hawks there, too.
By now, we hope you've worked up an appetite—for Worcester pizza and for more info on Becker. To get both, plan your visit.
