Whether you're a parent or a prospective student, you might enjoy reading our short, fact-filled monthly posts about our College's history, our campus events, and our Points of Pride. And with the school year wrapping up, we have a lot to share!

Did You Know May '15
  • Graduates of the Class of 2015 heard from keynote speaker, Karen S. Rohan, president of Aetna, Inc., at Becker's 227th commencement ceremony. Becker President, Robert E. Johnson, Ph.D., said, "She serves as a powerful example of a successful visionary leader who has been recognized on a national level by her industry peers."
  • In 2011, Becker was awarded the Urban Design Appreciation Award by Preservation Worcester for our adaptive reuse of historical properties. (Our Leicester and Worcester campuses are listed on the National Register for Historic Places!)
  • We have over 2,000 Twitter followers. Are you one of them?
  • The 17th annual Pet Rock Fest, which promotes kindness to animals and responsible pet ownership, will take place on Becker College's Leicester campus in September. (Have you heard about our nationally recognized animal studies degree programs?)
  • Last month, 34 of our students were inducted into the Theta Chapter of the Alpha Chi Honor Society, which recognizes juniors and seniors who rank in the top 10 percent of their class.
  • Our men's lacrosse team was just named the 2015 New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) champions. (Thinking about being a student-athlete in college? Fill out our athletics recruiting questionnaire for more information.)

Our students may be in vacation mode, but we're welcoming students all summer long. Plan your visit to see what we're all about.
